I have lived in Pike Township for over 17 years. I have strong ties to Pike and know it like the back of my hand. I have a son that went through the Pike School System. Before I became I realtor I was a computer programmer for a large corporation in Park 100 for over 20 years. Part of my job was solving problems daily for over 250 computer users. That experience taught me well. Problem solving, using computers to do business and patience are all great traits of good Realtors. I am also an excellent photographer. My listing flyers stand out in a crowd.  

I am very familiar with community and neighborhood associations and how they work. I am a past President of Community Associations Institute. I am also a member of Pike Township Residents Association.

50 percent of my business is in Pike Township with over 1/3 being in condos. I am familiar with most all communities in Pike and follow all new developments and zoning variances and changes. I am constantly doing research on Pike Township real estate. I gather information on what sells, when it sells, what price ranges are the most popular and the age of houses that sell the most. This information is available in my quarterly newsletter and at my real estate Blog site www.LivingInPike.com  

I also do business in Hendricks County , Boone County, Hamilton County and as far away as Bloomington. My real estate license allows me to do business anywhere in the state of Indiana .  

One thing that I consider very important to being a Realtor® is education. It is essential to keep up with changing trends in the business. In January 2006 I completed the National Association of Realtors® e-PRO certification. This teaches you how to market real estate and do business on the internet. This is extremely important when 77 percent of all buyers start their search for a new home on the internet. In June 2006 I passed the National Association of Realtors® Accredited Buyers Representative course. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. In June 2006 I started the National Association of Realtors® Accredited Sellers Representative course. Every 2 years I am required to take 16 hours of education to maintain my license. Most years I am way over that mark.

I work out of the Century 21 downtown office in Zionsville because it is the closest Century 21 office to Pike Township and my home in Pike.
